There has always been problems with learning Object Oriented
concepts and implementations.These problems are due to two major reasons:
- Novice programmers usually do not
start from Object concepts. The trend is because of
deficiency of the programming languages to be easy to
learn.
- The transition from structural programming to OO programming
is not simple and direct in most programming languages.
Concerning these facts, we were inclined to start an open project
at the university to help ourselves out.
We do not intend in the first steps of the project to produce a
complete programming language.
Our major purpose is to design a pure Object Oriented programming
language which is easy to learn for the beginner.
Accordingly, we tried to make our designs on the basis of a common and
known OO programming language (Java) which is familiar for many.
This project will be open in future
for other people especially students to add to or modify the
design in order to get closer to what we aim.
